Emilija Žukauskaitė is a freelance painter and illustrator based in Vilnius & Bali.
Her journey into painting began in 2013 as a silent rebellion against the toxic lifestyle that she had naively allowed in.
Unable to articulate her emotions verbally, she found that the canvas became not only an interpreter but also a therapeutic escape.
what is my work about?
I strive to make a powerful first impression through the colors and vivacious themes I choose. Each work serves as a statement piece, my way of engaging in a dialogue with the viewer & inviting him into a world where desire and art intertwine.
I prefer canvases that are expansive, providing a vast stage for my artistic exploration. The sheer size adds a physicality, engulfing the viewer in the immersive experience of my creations.
I never lie when I paint. It all happend in some part in life.

Emilija also has a deep connection to Bali, where she spends time each year to immerse herself in the vibrant island culture.
During her stays in Bali, she welcomes the opportunity to take orders for custom artworks.
